The MT Pages blog documents our trials and tribulations while we build a neural-network powered Lego sorting machine. We started work on the machine in our spare time in January 2018 and hope to have a functional device before Half Life 3 is released.
This blog is run by Jamie and Peter. We spend our free time pursuing interests in Lego, computer sciences, and new technologies. We both have careers in IT, and are always looking to learn new things.
Neither of us have formal education in programming. Therefore a Lego sorting machine utilizing a neural network seemed like biting off more than we can chew, but who are we if not bold?
The goal of the blog is not to educate. Indeed if you read anything related to programming in this blog and think "Wow these guys know their stuff" you should probably double check it. Ideally, we hope to receive constructive criticism from our readers. However we will at least give our friends and family a catalog of endeavors both comical and informative.
